Kriya workshop, removing the body’s waste material and functional maintenance.
An Ayurveda and Yoga workshop offers you a quick and immediate positive impact on your life. Yoga philosophy and medical science are full of knowledge and wisdom. Often, we see people spend years immersing themselves in this, but struggle to actually apply it in their lives.
Applying Ayurveda in a Yoga workshop, we create a golden combination that allows you to take small steps in your life that will make you healthier and happier in the long run.
Depending on the topic of the workshop, one- or multi-day workshops are offered.
The importance of a workshop is that it is informative, practical and applicable. Yoga and Ayurveda believes in health as a holistic aspect. Therefore, a varied programme is offered each day, including:
– physical activities in the form of Yoga Asana for body fitness;
– theoretical lessons from traditional Indian philosophy for brain stimulation;
– a sattvic meal to nourish the body internally;
– relaxation exercises to reset your body, mind and energy consumption;
– a practical workshop that you can immediately take forward at home.
The Ayurveda and Yoga workshop is organised at peaceful locations in the Netherlands. We often choose a small-scale Yoga studio or centre surrounded by nature.
We do choose a location in the middle of the Netherlands so that it is accessible to many people.
Examples include an Ayurveda and Yoga workshop in Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Oosterbeek and Arnhem.
All the retreats are taught with the knowledge from ancient Indian traditions. We balance practical and theoretical activities and teach in such a way that you can implement what you learn in your own life.
All the today’s day Yoga styles are derived from traditional Yoga. Therefore, you will find different styles back in our teachings. Asana practice is based on Hatha Yoga postures. Indian Classic Yoga precisely wants to make Yoga accessible to everyone therefore the Asanas are mainly done in a dynamic form. This is similar to the styles of Ashtanga, Vini yoga or Vinyasa. Our practical activities include Pranayama and Meditation.
In our group-sessions, lectures and workshops we provide you with tools for self-development and help you how to deal with life situations. This all comes from the Yoga philosophy. The wisdom is based on the Yoga Sutra’s of Patanjali, but also other Vedic traditions such as Samkhya and Vedanta.
One of the most important aspects in Yoga, which is often forgotten, is food. In our programs we introduce the knowledge of Ayurveda, which has at its core how to live a balanced life, how to become and stay healthy and give your body what it requires.
